# Collector Crypt review: Trust Score 62/100 (Mixed)

Working Solana card platform with real volume, but anonymous team, no audit found, and whale-heavy usage

Collector Crypt runs a Solana marketplace where graded physical trading cards (mainly Pokémon) are tokenized and can be redeemed, and CARDS is its token, launched on 29 Aug 2025. The product exists and has real activity: The Block reported $150M in randomized card trades by early September 2025, and Pine Analytics data reported via SolanaCompass showed $433.5M in Q3 2026 pack payments. Against that, the research notes did not identify named founders, a legal entity or a disclosed third-party audit. Independent analysis also suggests most pack buyers lose money, and a few hundred wallets drive most volume. No regulator warnings, lawsuits or hacks naming the project were found in the sources reviewed.

**Red flags**
- The sources reviewed did not identify named founders or executives from official materials
- No confirmed legal entity name or jurisdiction was found in the sources
- No disclosed third-party smart-contract audit was found in the sources
- Pine Analytics data reported by SolanaCompass says about 548 wallets accounted for 83% of Q3 2026 pack volume, a concentration risk
- Independent analysis cited by PackRipper says about 94% of spend came back as card value, only 22% of wallets finished ahead, and the median wallet lost about $50
- Coverage cites regulatory gray areas around randomized packs and the 'gambling' framing
- Token allocation figures differ across secondary sources, and the sources show no full official allocation table
- Scheduled token unlocks and vesting are described as aggressive in independent coverage
- The platform has little independent consumer-review history

**Green flags**
- Working product with real usage, including $150M in randomized card trades by early Sep 2025 (The Block) and $433.5M in Q3 2026 pack payments (SolanaCompass/Pine Analytics)
- Fixed 2 billion supply and launch method documented in official docs
- The team published fundraising figures: about $1.1M total pre-seed ($800K) and seed ($300K), plus about $3.5M in the launch pool at the time of its post
- No regulator warnings, lawsuits or court cases naming Collector Crypt appeared in the legal searches
- No public hacks reported in major news sources reviewed
- No well-documented complaints about failed withdrawals or refunds were found
- Coinbase added CARDS to its listing roadmap in early Nov 2026, though no trading date was announced
- Price (about $0.26 on 4 Nov 2026 per CoinGecko) is well below the reported ~$0.38 high, but not a >90% crash
