Live NEAR DeFi hub with a real product, but a reported $18.4M April 2026 exploit and unproven roadmap items

Rhea Finance is a NEAR-based DeFi platform formed from the Ref Finance (DEX) and Burrow (lending) merger. Its token launched in July 2025 and the platform is live. No regulator warning or lawsuit naming RHEA turned up in the supplied results. Against that, the project was hit by an exploit in April 2026, first estimated at about $7.6M and later revised to about $18.4M, and several roadmap items (AI Vault, cross-chain meta-DEX, multichain perps) could not be confirmed as delivered.
